The welding robot model MULETTO is made of metal sheet and electro-welded steel profiles, machined on the machine tool and subjected to rigorous standardization treatments, to ensure a high precision, combined with excellent rigidity and resistance to mechanical stress. The welding clamp made of light alloy enhances handling performance and welding dynamics.

Adjustment of the welding cycle
It’s entrusted to a sophisticated electronic apparatus: J-TEK automatic control system, microprocessor which provides for timing, synchronous with the network frequency, of the various phases of the cycle (approach, welding, impulse repetition, cold weather and maintenance), and the adjustment of the welding current by means of 2 SCR diodes. It is possible to prepare a wide range of welding cycles with different parameters, within which every single working point can be specified.

Swivel table for workpiece holder
The machine can be equipped, as an option, of different table-holder models having the dual function to collaborate on access to processing points and, at the same time, the reduction of processing times allowing the execution of loading-unloading operations in parallel with the production activity of the machine. Single swivel tables with 180 degree rotation pitch are available; Composite boards, with 120 degree rotation pitch.

Axis movement
The robot is equipped with 2 Cartesian axes corresponding to X and Y and a rotation of the electrode head (optional). The movements are implemented by ball recycling shoes, long precision guides in cemented steel.

Weld gun
Light alloy was specifically sized to withstand the mechanical stress of the welding punch, and, via a support trolley, is moved throughout the working area. Inside houses the welding transformer, single phase, which concurs with the secondary circuit to generate the welding current flow. It offers the option of housing the three-phase transformer, or of medium frequency for carrying out particular types of welding.

Control unit
Structure and multiprocessors, expandable up to 32 axes, with various trajectory management possibilities: point to point, linear interpolation, all with possibility of fly-mode on intermediate points of path. Manual movements according to robot axes, absolute coordinates or coordinates related to the tool center (TCP). Field programming for self-learning, in other words via remote keypad, on a machine panel or via another personal computer over a network. Online program storage via static memory and offline on magnetic discs by means of built-in disk-driver + Hard disk. The system provides, among other things, the possibility of integration with other automatic machines, within flexible processing lines.

The “FACILE” weld synchronous control board with a diode microprocessor controlled in 5 steps is equipped with double programme and pulses.
